Yes We Can!

Today is election day!  I sincerely hope that everyone gets out to vote b/c it truly will be a historical moment.

But, to be totally honest, I am an Obama Mama!  I would love to see him as our next president.

What I find interesting is that McCain supporters - at least, those that I've spoken with - seemed resigned to voting for McCain and say things like, "I just want this to be over".  Whereas Obama supporters seemed genuinely pumped about the election.  I'm not sure why there's that large disconnect between the groups but it certainly is interesting.

Obama just seems to energize those around and those that want to believe.  I understand that we are in a honeymoon period with him and just like any new relationship, the honeymoon will end.  However, I think that people fail to remember that we are in this for the long haul - our relationship with Obama, our next president.  Just like any other long-term relationship, cracks will form, but through hard work, our relationship will just get stronger.

Good luck to Senators Obama, Biden and McCain (+ Governor Palin).  I will be watching all night long!!!
