Yesterday, when I was getting ready for work, a song kept popping into my head, "Let the Sunshine In". I realize that this Hair song is mostly irrelevant to the situation, but I couldn't help but feel a great rush of excitement & promise with the election of President-Elect Obama. This is a great day in the United States & I believe that he will be a welcome relief to the party politics favored by President Bush as well as a breath of fresh air to our international allies.
Here's a great article in the "New York Times" about this campaign. I think that the way that he handled his campaign can be indicative of how he'll run the country. And, we should consider ourselves lucky all around!!
